From a Question to Significance!

I am studying the effects toys have on children's development because I want to find out which toys/which play are the most beneficial or harmful in order to help my readers understand how children develop and how people can best help provide stimulating environments for these children to grow.

I feel like writing this topic in this format narrowed down my topic without me even realizing it, I'm okay with that though. I'm pretty happy with this topic sentence. I'm excited to see what I find and see what conclusions I draw. I particularly like my "in order to" part, and that might be considered the most important part. If you don't understand why you're researching what you are--what's the point? I think my ultimate goal for doing this is to hopefully know how to provide the best possible learning environment for developing children.
