BRAVE School--Hannah Hausmann

I liked this thesis when I first saw the presentation, and I chose to read it to see how a "business plan" type thesis would look. Especially considering my diet, public school, and holistic living ideas were all kind of in the same realm (which I like and hope I can do something similar).

I really liked how she started with such a personal experience. It shows the compassion and just how close this topic is to her.

I was getting a bit confused, because she was going on about ABA therapy and I didn't know what exactly that was. She did get to it about page 17 though which helped a lot.

I liked the "programs offered" at the end. It made it seem like after learning all of that I could choose the program for my child. I know that it was also to provide more specifically the type of programs offered and to get an idea of what the children would be doing.

This thesis was a successful proponent for the BRAVE school and advocated the cause well. It definitely seemed professional enough to present to a board to be carried out. I see how it would be hard to make this school in reality though. I admire the ambitious view. Maybe one day Louisiana will have a facility similar to the BRAVE school.

  1. I'm glad you read my sister's thesis. I thought that her proposal was very well written and I liked the idea of a proposal. I think I prefer the proposal style over the typical essay.
